This position oversees the human resources and facilities functions for the Enterprise and is the champion for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and execute human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the Enterprise.

Drive insights and action using business specific knowledge and diversity dataDevelop a central resource hub to organize and publicize key Diversity, Inclusion, and Talent tools to Human Resources and the businessPlan and facilitate talent development, management and succession planning processesPartner with the business to design and implement Diversity and Inclusion initiatives to continue to foster an inclusive culture and attract, hire, and retain a diverse workforceDevelop and implement policies, objectives and activities consistent with the enterprises operations, culture and diversity philosophy to ensure a high performing workforceDevelop and implement diversity, equity and inclusion training for all levels of staffChampion the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team to continue to build the desired diversity culture within the organizationDevelop and implement affinity groups or Employee Resource GroupsStay informed regarding research and best practices in diversity, equity, and inclusionDevelop and maintain competitive total compensation strategies; including compensation philosophy, employee benefits plan design and funding, short term incentive program, 401(k) and profit sharing as well as other benefit programsDevelop, track and control annual operating budgetParticipate in the development of the company’s strategic plansProvide leadership and participate in national human resources initiatives for Delta Dental Plans AssociationHire and direct the training of staff, conduct timely employee performance evaluations and identify employee development needs.Access EPHI following the current guidelines as established at the company-wide and department levels.Perform other work-related duties as assigned.QualificationsEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree in Business (or other related field) with Human Resources Management emphasis; Masters degree preferred.10 years of progressive Human Resources management experience with at least 5 years focusing on diversity, inclusion, and equity SHRM-SCP designation preferredKnowledge of human resources best practices, diversity and inclusion program development, business processes, budgeting and business operationsBroad experience in employee relations, project management, coaching, recruitment, organizational development, performance management, training, compensation and benefitsDiscretion working with confidential information requiredStrong interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsExperience managing complex, multi-dimensional projectsActive listener who values diverse perspectivesProven track record in building and participating on teams.

The position requires a well-organized, articulate professional with high ethical standards and integrity, who demonstrates good judgment.

Computer skills, including experience with MS Office Suite applicationsSome travel required.
