You will design and implement new processes to evolve the strategic planning for space management with a focus on global alignment that supports the workplace experience and real estate portfolio strategies. Aligning processes across areas of space programming, space data, occupancy metrics, planning calculations, space use policies, and utilization tracking for the global portfolio, you will collaborate with teams to define immediate and long-term strategies. With oversight of occupancy and utilization analysis standards, you take a data driven approach to space management solution development.Responsibilities:* Global Lead – Design and implement new processes to support the strategic planning for space management with a focus on global alignment; Evaluate and integrate space planning processes to create global consistency; Program Lead to team of Space Planners who sit in and report to Workplace Services Leaders in regions* Drive Strategic Planning – Understand immediate and long term business objectives and guide development of global space program and planning calculations, Evaluate tools and processes for long range planning; Own various utilization measures and understand impact to ratios; Partner with portfolio strategy, workplace solutions, design, project delivery, facilities, and global operations teams* Program Management – Track milestones and due dates for all global space planning deliverables; Troubleshoot issues; Lead quarterly reviews* Restack & Migration Plans – Partner with in region space planning teams to conduct analyses and provide direction on global process; Review plans to ensure accurately reflects global or regional standards* Data, Analytics, & Reporting – Develop one global data set; responsible for developing and owning global metrics and reporting to inform Real Estate Executive leadership team and space optimization opportunities* Space Policies and Training – Be a steward of global space and occupancy policies and processes that support the workplace experience and global operation strategies; Assist with team trainings and enablement* Continuous Improvement – Drive standardization and continuously improve processes by identifying and developing process improvements, best practices, and tools to increase the efficiency and effectivenessRequired Skills/Experience:* Minimum of 8 years of experience in space and occupancy management, workplace innovation, workplace design, portfolio planning, workplace strategies or related experience in corporate real estate (architecture, design, real estate planning, workplace strategy, project management, facilities management, business, etc)* Technical skills including working knowledge of space and occupancy related systems (e.g. CAFM, AutoCAD, workplace management systems)* Proven track record in leading planning and programming flexible workspaces* Tableau analytics and expert in analyzing real estate and space data* Strong time management, organization and prioritization skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines* Comfort with ambiguity and motivated to solve complex problems* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including sound judgement about when, how, what, and to whom to communicate* Communicate in a way that informs, educates, and inspires teams – leads to teams of employees at various levels who are not direct reports* Google sheets, slides, docs, and SmartSheet experience a plus* LI-YAccommodations – If you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this Accommodations Request Form.Posting StatementAt Salesforce we believe that the business of business is to improve the state of our world.
