Position Project Coordinator II Duration 6 months (possibility of extension) Location Mettawa, IL, 60045 (Lake County, IL) Top 3-5 skills requirements 1) Customer focus 2) Good telephone and email skills 3) Good communication skills 4) Resourceful Description The primary function is to collaboratework with project sponsors, business units, and users to identify project scope and focus, develop or monitor project initiatives, partner with project managers to implement project requirementsplansprocessestools, and assure project success. The secondary function will be to resolve or escalate calls that have been entered into the support system by the Level 1 support analysts. Works with end-user groups to identify technical solutions to business problems or inefficiencies. Evaluates existing systems andor user needs and make recommendations. RESPONSIBILITIES bull Work on projects under the direction of the project manager. bull Perform project and administration tasks including data collection, production and distribution of project documents, report creation, and team collaboration. bull Provide input to a project schedule and participate in project meetings. bull Seek assistance from senior project team members to understand and solve complex project problems. bull Review problem tickets and respond to users within established standards. bull Resolve open tickets in a timely and professional manner following established SOPs. bull Manage escalations to other support groups if tickets cannot be resolved. bull Provide a positive customer service experience to the customer. COMPETENCIES Strong customer service strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment understanding of Windows-based applications ability to diagnose application software and hardware problems ability to recognize priority issues and escalate accordingly ability to translate technical terms into non-technical language Competence in using office productivity applications, such as Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint Outstanding verbal and written communication skills executive presence and presentation capability. QUALIFICATIONS Associates degree minimum with sufficient knowledge of IT operations, responsibilities, workflow processes, and procedures to resolve most inquires independently. Good analytical and communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with clients and other division staff.
