Job Description

Palo Alto Networks is looking to launch a new and innovative security solution that will not only meet the changing needs of our customers but also delight them with something they wished they had all along.

We are building a new team to support this product and we are looking for proven top performers to join us.

As a Sr.

Enterprise Sales Manager, you will be responsible for partnering closely with our Core Sales teams, interfacing with our District Sales Managers and complex large Enterprises, to identify opportunities, and work together to close sales.

During the sales process, you will be responsible for presenting our security solutions to prospective customers: crafting and delivering demonstrations of the products, gathering customer technical requirements, and making expert recommendations.

As a member of the Palo Alto Networks sales team, you will drive sales of our new security solution and will own your strategy to grow your territory and exceed the stated sales quota.
 

Your impact: 

Work with District Managers, Core Seller’s & SE’s to evangelize and educate on the value proposition of our solution

Call on CSO, CIO Executives to support sales initiatives for our solution

Present overall value proposition to key executives both internally and externally

Actively prospect for new opportunities within a set territory

Drive deals from beginning (prospecting) to Closing.

Develop and execute on a shared attack plan with our Core Sales Team

Work across departments and maintain tight alignment with Business Development Representative, Channel and Marketing teams.

Maintain SFDC hygiene including updating your forecast weekly

Effectively lead conversations about our security platform and solutions

Educate customers and partners on the network security landscape

Gather customer technical requirements and identify product and technology gaps

Collaborate with our Engineering team to create and deliver compelling demonstrations of products and solutions that clearly differentiates from competitors or legacy security solutions

Create evaluation test plans with customers that highlight the strengths of our platform and clearly differentiate from competitors, and manage the evaluation process to a successful conclusion

Stay current on product roadmap and be able to deliver Pitch & Demo

Qualifications

Your Experience

Experience selling a portfolio of solutions and expanding a customer’s environment with newer solutions (approximately 7+ years)

Familiarity with cybersecurity products and topics; driven to learn more

Strong Network Security experience ideally with Sales Engineering Background

Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals

Developing organizational, planning, communication and negotiation skills

Positive, growth-oriented mindset

Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze complex multivariate problems and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolution, often under duress

Mature and effective organizational and time-management skills

Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners.

You’ve not only carried quotas, you’ve consistently exceeded them by doing the right thing for your customer

Motivated self-starter, proactive and action-oriented

Strategic problem solving and collaboration skills

Strong verbal and written communications skills in English

Proven ability to deliver results in a matrix organization (leveraging multiple functions and teams)
