Director of Growth Marketing

The role:

The Director of Growth Marketing is a highly visible, critical role that will report into the Chief Growth or Chief Marketing Officer at Braviant.

This person will provide analytical, operational and creative leadership to ensure our brands acquire, convert and retain high-quality customers.

The Director will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to execute across all direct marketing channels, including direct mail, affiliate partnerships, SEM / paid search, email, and other new channels.

What you’ll be doing:
Create and execute on strategic and tactical plans to grow and optimize Braviant’s existing lending business via a multi-million dollar annual marketing budget Establish the go-to market strategy to support the launch of new fintech products Make recommendations on marketing budget allocation to achieve the desired volume targets and return on marketing spend Manage the strategy and execution of Braviant’s best-in-class direct mail acquisition channel with a focus on continuous testing, learning and growth Diversify new customer acquisition efforts by further developing Braviant’s affiliate and SEM / paid search capabilities and exploring new channel opportunities Manage retention strategy and efforts to ensure that Braviant is the #1 choice for customers with an additional credit need Analyze the competitive landscape to generate actionable insights about new product or marketing opportunities and ensure that Braviant’s products are well-positioned in the market Partner with FP&A and other internal stakeholders to set annual marketing targets and update monthly forecasts Partner with Business Intelligence to build reporting and monitor channel performance relative to target KPIs Collaborate with Marketing Analytics and other internal stakeholders to identify and execute on expansion and optimization opportunities Identify, negotiate, onboard and manage key marketing vendors and foster deep relationships to ensure that incentives are aligned and performance expectations are met Lead, develop and mentor a growing team of direct reports to support Braviant’s growth marketing efforts
What you’ll bring:
7+ years experience in marketing channel development and management Superb analytical, problem-solving and project management skills Effective verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present findings and recommendations to the C-suite Comfortable manipulating data and generating graphs in Excel Equally as important You can effectively enable your team to consistently deliver results with a sense of urgency and coach them to work effectively across teams in a matrixed organization You have a growth-minded focus and are constantly trying to beat the status quo You possess advanced problem-solving capabilities and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment You’re comfortable with the unknown: startup life allows for a broad, wide ranging role, but also means priorities and work can change quickly.
