Director, Head of Sales Activation – NA

Facebook is seeking an experience manager to lead our Head of Sales Activation to accelerate and scale cross-vertical initiatives to open net new revenue streams across our largest agency partnerships within the North America Global Business Group.

This person will be accountable for scaling product initiatives across categories, channels and sales teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in selling cross-network marketing solutions to Fortune 500 advertisers and a proven ability to reach and influence executive level customers and drive new business.

Additionally, this candidate should have experience working within a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders as well as experience leading, coaching and influencing people.

Candidates must have strong consultative sales skills, a collaborative and innovative spirit and comfort with ambiguity and change.

Director, Head of Sales Activation
– NA Responsibilities

– Build, inspire, train and manage a talented, motivated, highly consultative sales and services team

– Develop go to market strategies with defined milestones, KPIs and joint accountability

– Identify winning strategies for scaling horizontal initiatives and insights

– build process for analyzing, onboarding and sunsetting priorities

– Effectively manage/navigate through ambiguous situations relating to early-product business opportunities, both internally and externally

– Work cross-functionally with Sales Teams, Global Teams, Business Operations, Platform, Marketing Science, Product Marketing and Business Marketing to optimize efforts

– Consult with Product Marketing to help shape product development in support of partner needs, with particular focus on measurement and brand safety/suitability

– Exceed sales, pricing and yield KPIs and develop scalable operations solutions and improvements to support Facebook’s continued advertiser growth

– Guide the creation of persuasive presentations and stories that demonstrate the value of Facebook’s key initiatives to agencies and marketers across verticals

– Establish relationships across Facebook focused on driving client ROI, industry solutions and joint development opportunities

– Serve as an industry thought leader to Facebook’s ongoing product and technology developments to best serve large partner needs

– Excellent ability to forecast and efficiently allocate resources to drive profitable business results

Minimum Qualifications

– BA/BS degree

– 12+ years of relevant marketing and/or sales experience

– Management experience and skills with experience influencing cross-functional teams and people not directly reporting to you

– Knowledge of the agency ecosystem and advertising technologies across digital, traditional and creative agencies 

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience identifying and hiring a diverse team.

Experience providing leadership with experience building, training, coaching and developing a high-performing team including providing coaching and mentoring to other team leads

– Demonstrated experience performing in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment

– Proven track record of managing change management programs with experience leading, supporting and managing these to a conclusion

– Proven experience building relationships at the C-level across the business both internally and externally with market reputation

– Demonstrated track record in leading a sales team to surpass its targets and grow the scale of partnerships under their control

– Proven experience challenging the status quo, take calculated risks, and confidently drive innovation and change for maximum impact on clients and the organization
