Digital Marketing Manager

This is a Contract position in Tinley Park, IL posted March 26, 2020.

Come join our expanding Digital Media department We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who will bring strategic and technical expertise to building, designing, managing, and maintaining a robust ecommerce site.

This individual will update web pages, develop site functions, and ensure availability to users at all times.

What you’ll do: Identify and manage technical resources as needed to complete site updates in line with budgetary and scheduling requirements.

Work with the marketing team to keep the website up to date and assure the website’s brand message, promotions, and revised web pages are aligned to the marketing campaigns.

Perform information-gathering services including technical website analysis, competitive and keyword research, and link analysis.

Identify and implement innovative SEO strategies, conversion optimization programs, and customer retention plans.

Manage hosting provider and proactively monitor software and hardware updates to avoid downtime.

Perform quality assurance on website functionality.

Ensure website meets accessibility standards.

Collaborate across teams to establish a future roadmap of initiatives.

Leverage analytics data to inform marketing and product strategies.

What you’ll bring: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design, Communications or related field.

Five years of experience in website management and website design (portfolio required).

Experience leading a cross-functional team and managing outside vendors.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.

Understanding of HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Experience using graphics and web development tools.

Experience using SEO and analytics to transform data and maximize outcomes.

Proficient with computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Analytics.

Experience in publishing, education, technology, or related field.
