Digital Event Production Manager

The Digital Event Production Manager oversees the production of virtual events including client facing and internal events.

This position serves as project manager, partnering with external production teams, content providers, presenters, and the IT, A/V, BD, Marketing, and Event Commercialization Teams to ensure virtual events are executed within defined timelines and budgets while maintaining Firm digital production standards.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
– Produces and directs complex Firm digital productions including virtual events, webinars, web conferences, workshops, and industry panel discussions across the U.S.

and globally
– Sets and maintains Firm digital production quality standards, including establishing and upholding service level agreements for event uptime
– Creates and executes digital production project plans including timelines, budgets, virtual event production agencies, and other resources as required to complete projects on time and within budget
– Gathers technical requirements and conducts pre-event testing and configuration on digital platforms
– Provides creative input to event content providers including Business Development, Marketing, and attorneys from the Legal Practice Groups
– Oversees virtual event content uploads and integration including text, images, audio, and video
– Performs event day production including rehearsing presenters where required, and monitoring and managing break out rooms and virtual waiting rooms
– Troubleshoots emergent technical issues
– Conducts necessary communication and coordination with vendors including vendor selection, contract and pricing negotiation, and vendor management
– Maintains up to date knowledge of virtual event technologies, industry trends, and competition
– Will own the virtual aspect of hybrid in-person/virtual conferences upon the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, including travel to in-person events and on the ground vendor and production coordination Job Specifications:
– Bachelor’s degree
– At least 7 years of related work experience
– Advanced knowledge and experience with Zoom and Zoom Video Webinar
– Advanced knowledge and experience with lighting, audio, video, and technical direction of live virtual events
– Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Strong organizational skills
– Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
– Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
– Ability to work independently under own direction and initiative
– Ability to travel within the U.S.
