Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – Clinical Services Supervisor (CSS):

• The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – Clinical Services Supervisor (CSS) collaborates with the Director of Nursing (DON) – Director of Clinical Services (DCS)
• Ensure the plans of care are implemented in a timely and efficient manner
• Manage the clinical team, develop and facilitate programs, and provide education to staff
• Plan and evaluate nursing systems, rotations and methods

Requirements of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – Clinical Services Supervisor (CSS):

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN), licensed in the State of Illinois
• At least three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) preferred
• Knowledge of long-term care facility regulations desirable
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing, intermediate or long-term care facility preferred
• Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults

Experience:

• Registered Nurse: 3 years (Preferred)
• Long Term Care facility: 1 year (Preferred)

License:

• RN (Registered Nurse) (Required)
