Patient Service Representative Full-time DAYs Elmhurst Physician Practice Division Location: 172 Schiller St, Downtown Elmhurst Hours: M# 8-5:30, T 8-5, W 10:30-7, TH 9-4:30, F 8-5.# Possible Sat 7-1 when needed . As a Patient Service Representative, you will serve in the vital role of representing the health system to patients that choose our organization for their healthcare needs. This role will be cross trained to check in patients for IM, FM, Lab, Allergy, Dermatology, Cardiology and Coumadin Clinic. DUTIES: 1. Greet patients and visitors with a smile when they arrive at one of our facilities 2. Utilize the kiosk to help patients with registrations 3. Verify all patients are registered with current demographic and insurance data 4. Collect payments from patients 5. Scan all necessary identification and insurance cards 6. Scheduling appointments REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to multi-task, have excellent verbal/computer skills, type 35-40wpm and have at least one year of office or customer service experience – preferably in a medical setting.
