As a Business Development Rep., you will be responsible for acquiring new clients, which consist of property managers, Board of Director members, apartment building owners and investors and others who control building-ownership/management decisions (aka the Building Decision Makers).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales through all mediums including, but not limited to cold calling, direct mail, email campaigns, proposals, meetings, presentations and any other creative angle that comes to your mind
  • Navigate outside, business-to-business sales, inside sales, and some business-to-consumer sales
  • Develop relationships with the Building Decision Makers
  • Guide the Building Decision Maker through the business-to-business sales cycle


  • 2+ years of sales experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong people skills; organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office software
  • Experience with financial modeling recommended, but not required
  • Technologically savvy, resourceful, creative, analytical and business-minded
  • A vehicle is NOT required – or even desired
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required


  • Salary:  $50,000 to $70,000 + unlimited commission on new and renewal contracts
    • Expected Year-1 Total Compensation: $50k to $70k
    • Expected Year-2 Total Compensation: $60k to $90k
    • Expected Year-3 Total Compensation: $70k to $150k+
