Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google’s key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.Search Advertising, operational rigor, and passion for the Retail and Consumer Technology spaces shape how our customers grow their Search investment with Google. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you will partner cross-functionally with vertical sales management and go-to-market teams to bring new Search offerings to market, drive key product metrics, and influence future Search Product roadmap. You will dig into the details and metrics of today and anticipate tomorrow’s strategy to meet market needs.The Modern Search Specialist Team focuses on direct interaction with multi-channel sector pods and customers (Retail and Tech), helping them apply the strategies that will meet their business objectives through Search advertising. This is executed in tandem with sister teams including the Shopping and SA360 Specialist teams. In this role, you will manage the Tech vertical leads and tier two/scaled leads and report into the Search Solutions Team Director.Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We’re uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google’s broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.Responsibilities* Establish quarterly/annual KPI’s for Modern Search and mobilize your team to achieve goals via strong collaboration across sales teams.* Forge deep relationships and establish yourself as a thought partner with key Sales Director business partners, leading strategic initiatives related to Modern Search and on behalf of the broader Search Solutions Team.* Design scaled thought leadership and Search execution plans across the torso and tail of Retail and Tech customers in the business sector.* Solve problems on key customer challenges and remove organizational barriers for your team needed to achieve goals. Partner with other Product Specialist sector leads on overall U.S. priorities and strategies. Share and embrace best practices.* Demonstrate excellent people management and team results by communicating clear and consistent performance expectations and providing active coaching to individuals on your team.
