Technical Failure Analyst

This is a Full-time position in West Chicago, IL posted February 20, 2021.
Responsible for assisting the investigation of component, manufacturing, and field return issues through prompt, aggressive root cause analysis and effective corrective actions.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform analyses and apply problem solving techniques in order to identify failures at the component/part level
• Meticulously record steps taken in the investigation and enter into our investigation tracking system
• Pair Electrical Engineering skills with process/workflow optimization techniques to create improved root cause determinations
• Write down and establish standards of work and work instructions
• Develop test fixtures to improve measurement fidelity and throughput
• Detect patterns or increases in failures for early notification
• Document systemic failures with clear specific details for actionable engineering evaluation and documentation
