Job Description

The Business Insights & Analytics team’s mission is to provide strategic insights to enable Kraft Heinz eCommerce in driving outsized growth through innovation, experimentation and disruption, delivering strong results and a best-in-class consumer experience.

The team’s analytical responsibilities extend across a wide scope including: Sales & Market Share, Assortment & Availability, Content and Placement, Pricing and Promotion, Placement, and Performance Management, as well as several strategic projects to ensure performance excellence on pace with eCommerce evolution.

The team works very closely with all eCommerce functions, including Sales, Finance, Content, Media, Category Management, Data technology and Business Process.

The Lead, Business Insights & Analytics will lead a team of business analysts and managers and will be responsible for ensuring the team provides timely and accurate end-to-end business-critical analytics and insights for the whole of US and Canada eCommerce businesses.

This role will also be responsible for critical improvement projects which will be key in driving the eCommerce Analytics strategy.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Be a thought leader in eCommerce analytics innovation, ensuring analytics remains a competitive advantage to KHC eCommerce, keeping up with the ever-changing eCommerce industry.

This includes leading teams through the design and development of robust automated systems to enable a fast-moving, data-driven organization.

Be a thought leader in performance analytics and diagnostics, ensuring provided data is an accurate representation of our business performance, and is adopted by the teams as required to drive growth.

Lead eCommerce Business Analytics reporting team in providing strategic business insights, including:

Analyzing sales and market share data for all customers, and providing insights to Sales and Finance teams, in order to inform critical decision-making to continue to grow the business and our position within it.

Analyzing overall business health performance for all customers, acquiring a deep understanding of business performance and correlations, and providing detailed performance insights to cross-functional teams to drive the business.

Developing and communicating diagnostics to aid in business health initiatives planning.

Business health includes, but is not limited to content, placement, and ratings & reviews, among others.

Analyzing assortment and supply chain performance for all customers, and provide detailed performance insights and diagnostics to drive continuous improvement in both assortment and supply chain.

Lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects in the area of Digital Analytics, ensuring projects under responsibility are managed with utmost quality and timeliness.

Ability to lead and influence will be instrumental, as well as attention to detail and the highest standards in data science.

Collaborating with organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommended analytical and system modifications and development policies for data governance.

Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science or Data Science.

Master’s in business administration is a plus.

3+ years proven experience in leading analytics teams, and a demonstrated passion for collaboration and team-building.

Ability to successfully lead reporting team in consolidating and simplifying complex information for timely and effective decision-making, demonstrating thought leadership when solving problems and making decisions with limited data.

Use of statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable in driving business decisions.

Technical skills include knowledge of database languages such as SQL, R, or Python; spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; and data visualization software such as Tableau or PowerBI.

Mathematical and statistical skills are also valuable to help gather, measure, organize, and analyze data.

Ability to articulate a compelling vision, using very strong communication skills to get things done.

Preparing repots for leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.

3-5 years proven experience in data analytics projects.

Consumer packaged goods or eCommerce experience is a plus.

Multi-tasker who can manage projects across multiple categories simultaneously.

Naturally inquisitive, highly driven, and very self-sufficient.
