IAM Administrator

This is a Full-time position in Oak Brook, IL posted February 16, 2021.

The IAM administrator will help support the IAM digital product by day-to-day operational support of critical IAM applications, systems, and business processes. The IAM administrator will troubleshoot IAM platform performance issues and coordinate resolution with internal technical resources and with vendors. Daily responsibilities will include providing operational support for various IAM incident tickets, including troubleshooting, ongoing maintenance, and upgrades of these systems as well as support for other core applications systems. Participation in an on-call rotation is required as well as after-hours work as needed for system implementations, outages, or upgrades. Key Functions IAM Operations – 50 Triage and resolving IAM related incident tickets. Troubleshooting various IAM related account management issues. Update and modify LDAP account attributes. Participating in IT incident and problem management representing the IAM team Create and manage all operational documentation related to IAM, such as run books or procedural documents. Serve as the initial operational contact point for all IAM related issues. Systems Administration – 40 Maintain and upgrade all IAM related systems and applications. Collaborate with other IT staff to prepare the infrastructure for the implementation of the solution work with the vendor to install and configure the solution. Monitor capacity and performance of the IAM related infrastructure and make recommendations for increasing capacity and replacing the systems as necessary. Follow change control procedures during new implementations and changes to existing IAM systems. Evaluate system changes for security implications. Collaborate with other administrators and engineers on IAM related solutions. Projects Training – 10 Assist in researching or executing work related to IAM or company projects Assist in researching new or updating existing IAM solutions Ongoing IT IAM related training EducationExperienceSkills Requirements Typically, a bachelor’s degree in a related a field and minimum of 2 years of related experience. A combination of post-high school education, job related certification and related experience equivalent to 5 years may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Strong technical problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills.
