POSITION SUMMARY

Equipto Electronics Corp, under parent company Jonathan Engineered Solutions, is seeking a passionate, open-minded, results-driven HR Generalist to join their responsive team of professionals and support their growth and expansion efforts.

Qualified candidates will be expected to undertake a wide range of human resource tasks, including but not limited to organize training, administer employee benefits, handle employee leaves, and act as the main point of contact for employees’ inquiries on HR-related topics. The HR Generalist will use a Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. This full-time role is eligible for participation in Equipto Electronics Corp’s comprehensive benefit programs and offers the opportunity to work with a team of talented professionals. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer compensation and benefit plans.
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics, such as leaves and compensation, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Assist in the development, revision, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Undertake tasks around performance management.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, such as time to hire and employee turnover rates.
  • Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organizing team-building activities.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
  • Ensure compliance for both Illinois and Minnesota locations.
  • Undertake any other related activities, as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years progressive HR Generalist level experience.
  • BA/BS Degree in a related area a plus.
  • Experience with Acquisitions/Integrations/Mergers preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations related to the Human Resources function, including, but not limited to, FLSA, ADA, Civil Rights Act of 1964, and FMLA.
  • Proficient use of technology – HR software, HRIS Systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Paycom) will be a plus.
  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
  • Additional HR training or certifications will be a plus.
  • Travel will be required 20-25% of the time on the onset – will reduce after 1 year to 10%.
