nnOur client, a major health insurance provider, is currently seeking a Communications Coordinator for a 6 month assignment with potential to extend or convert to permanent.

Candidate needs to be local to Chicago, IL.

  In addition to working with the world’s most recognized and trusted name in staffing, Kelly employees can expect:  nn Competitive pay Paid holidays Year-end bonus program Recognition and incentive programs Access to continuing education via the Kelly Learning Center nn  The hours and pay for this position are as follows:  nn Monday – Friday – 8AM-5PM Pay: $25-35/hr nn  POSITION SUMMARY: nn Edit, manage, and distribute plan communications through a variety of channels including email communications, presentations and extranet content Coordinates small-scale cross-functional communication projects in support of Commercial Markets priorities Provides guidance and support to business units in planning, developing and implementing communication strategies around a portfolio of business imperatives, seeking to optimize awareness, understanding and/or adoption among key stakeholders including BCBS Plans, accounts, providers and consumers/members Consults with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, concise messages appropriate for target audiences nn  Education: nn Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience supporting Learning Management Systems in a large corporate environment.

nn Experience (Years/Type): nn Excellent writing, editing and organizational skills; strong knowledge of grammar and composition principles (including AP Style) to create effective writing for a diverse audience The ability to summarize complex information and develop clear and concise communications for various audiences Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel nn
