Job Title Business Analyst Market Research Manager Work Location 60018 (DES PLAINES, Illinois) Job Type Contract 4 months with possible extension Industry type Pharmaceuticals (Direct Client) RESPONSIBILITIES Summarize the main purpose of the role. Manage primary research and secondary analytics to guide business decisions. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Proactively identify knowledge gaps in context of current business needs, recommending and aligning management to closing these knowledge gaps. Align and execute brand learning plans in partnership with multi-functional teams Works collaboratively with internal partners to ensure business issues are translated into specific research questions with clear business impact. Identifies research design andor secondary data analysis that is appropriate to address business issue interpret research findings and synthesize into actionable business insights and recommendations. Assess vendor research designs to ensure answer core business questions and maximize value. Distils data from primary and secondary information sources to drive business decisions. Articulate market dynamics and performance, customer needs attitudes and behavior around assigned brands and categories. Demonstrates agility in managing multiple priorities and projects in a complex environment. Manages relevant IT tools as required, managing data uploads, accessibility, training, communication and general support. Guide and develop Sr. Analyst(s), Market Research role. Travel at approximately 25. QUALIFICATIONS Education Level MajorField of Study or Education Level Associates Degree ( 13 years) ExperienceBackground Experience Experience Details Minimum 5 years Demonstrated examples of personal leadership leveraging consumer insightsresearch to develop story for brand. Strong influencing skills, and ability to work effectively with all levels of business team management. Ability to coach others and build organizational talent relative to market research and strategic thought. Working knowledge of technical market research skills, and having managed qualitative, quantitative research. Strong analytical skills – familiar and able to analyze secondary data (retail sales and Nielsen homescan). Proven ability to integrate data from different data sources to provide clarity and direction to multi-functional team. Experience in brand building (positioning, architecture development), innovation and commercial execution. Excellent written and communication skills. Looking forward to your response!
