SUMMARY The Product Marketing Specialist, will support the growth and business development efforts of the Company.

This position will provide technical and sales support to the sales network through product documentation, competitor information, market analysis and on-site sales support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage all aspects of the documentation associated with marketing & sales of the product line and related software packages.

Support new product launches and provide launch plans, maintain product pricing and technical communication bulletins as required.

Develop a marketing strategy in line with Corporate and Company objectives.

Analyze marketing programs and adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.

Manage all marketing programs and advertising campaigns within budgeted guidelines.

Develop local advertising and promotional campaigns in collaboration with sales activities according to Corporate standards and guidelines.

Maintain relationships with media representatives and outside advertising agencies to ensure the most effective messaging and positioning for the organization.

Negotiate contract terms and media pricing and placement when necessary.

Manage public relation activities, including press releases and press kits.

Design and execute all targeted and customer relation newsletters, brochures, e-newsletters, direct mail, and social media Internet sites.

Collaborate effectively across functional departments and liaison with GFMS sales companies and internal staff on customer issues.

Support Sales Management efforts with product line; produce sales programs; travel to customers and other company locations up to 50% of the time.

Interface with customers on product specifications and work with sales and marketing to organize customer visits and meetings.

Develop and communicate effective presentations to customers.

Review and correct brand sales documents.

Maintain marketing database and customer market segmentation in SAP.

Create prospect list and qualify and monitor leads.

Maintain the company page on the GFMS website local content while working in coordination with GFMS Corporate on global content according to corporate policy.

Gather competitor information, conduct market analysis, and maintain current database of competition.

Maintain a thorough understanding of the industry, including competitors, organizations and tools, and resources to drive sales growth.

Oversee execution of promotional activities at trade shows and other events to support sales and marketing program.

Coordinate with vendors and staff to ensure prompt delivery of materials and merchandise.

Maintain inventory of photo work and art work and maintain marketing literature, archive files, and sample files.

Complete additional responsibilities as requested by the Director of Sales & New Business Development.

NON ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Maintain SAP system with updated information.

Generate and maintain Quotes.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training; preferably in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong technical Advanced Manufacturing knowledge specifically on options and machine reconfiguration.

Prior sales or product management experience would be helpful.

COMPUTER SKILLS Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Systems, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
