Premier Physician is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist for a locum opportunity in the Western half of Virginia.

The opportunity can be ongoing, and all travel, lodging, and malpractice is included.

Shifts are M-F, 8a-5p and there is no call/weekend work required.

Typical cases include CTs, plus MR, CT, US and a few various types (see below).

Ideal candidates will have a VA license and clean malpractice (for faster credentialing).n n nn Basic Information n
– Locum: $250/hr (plus travel, lodging, and malpracticen
– Schedule: M-F, 8a-5pn
– Call/Weekends: Nonen
– Credentialing: 90 daysn
– Start Date: ASAPn
– Cases: No more than 40 CTs for 8a-5p shift, No Mammo.n
– Preferred: ABR/AOBR BC, BI Fellowship (not required), VA license, Case Logsn
– Staff: Provider will work with at least 2 but up to 4 other radiologist on staff per shift.

Aspects of the practice include all modalities except angiography.n

– CT
– 16-slice Phillips with CT fluoro and new 64-slice Siemens with cardiac package, 16-slice Siemensn
– MR
– 1.5T Siemens Avanto with cardiac, and 3T Siemens just installedn
– U/S
– 3 ATL/Phillips 5000 units with harmonics, Doppler and colorn
– 3 mammo units with Fischer prone stereo biopsy tablen
– 2 fluoro units, 4 Xray roomsn
– Nuclear Medicine
– noncardiac only, 2 SMV/GE cameras with new software in the last yearn
– PET-CT
– Siemens mobile unit, twice per weekn
