As a Virtualization and Windows Solutions Architect, your tasks will include:

Design and architect, work with state of the art compute, virtualization and storage systems.

Design and develop computing systems architecture to meet demands of the business.

Conduct vulnerability scan and assessments of production platforms and provide recommendations for identified vulnerabilities, work with other teams to identify, resolve, and mitigate vulnerabilities in those systems.

Evaluate the current and upcoming infrastructure stack from a security perspective and provide hardening recommendations.

Virtualization and Windows optimization & performance.

Active Directory global consolidations, optimization, consolidation

Coordinates and supports information security efforts in Windows Server, virtualization and storage

Scripting and automation, builds

Business acquisition technology audits and recommendations for integrations on compute, virtualization, storage, AD for acquired businesses

Systems management and alerting

Disaster and Site Recovery

Take part in life cycle management and continual refresh processes

Efforts are mainly in the core data centers and technology within

PM19

10 – 15 + years in an IT engineering / solutions architecture role in corporations or in consulting services in companies with $2B-$3B+ in annual revenue.

BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent education.

MCSE required, security certifications, Azure certifications are a plus.

Experience with F5 Big IP, LTM, GTM, ASM a plus

Extensive automation skills (Powershell, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar)

10+ years VMware vSphere 6.0 – 6.7, Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2 – 2016, and expert Active Directory.

HPE compute, storage, and fiber switching experience required or equivalent

Must possess strong enterprise level experience

Ability to manage hundreds of VMs, expert knowledge of AD GPOs, and make enterprise wide changes in a planned, and orchestrated fashion.

Able to adapt to dynamic requirements, complex interdependent applications, and rapidly evolving project goals.

10+ years of experience Strong Windows OS, Active Directory, and automation skillsets.

Expert level knowledge of scripting, AD group policy design, and Windows/AD security best practices.

AD migration and consolidation experience in global companies with thousands of users.

2008R2-2016 migration experience, solution architecture, Vmware Horizon, SRM, Disaster and Site Recovery, Horizon
