Senior Financial Analyst

We assist dental practices that are facing non-clinical challenges by providing them with industry proven non-clinical business support services.

We are looking for professional staff that want to join a collaborative and motivated team that provides non-clinical support functions to an affiliated network of dentists. These professionals have critical roles in assisting with non-clinical services across a broad network of affiliated dental practices.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the monthly and quarterly reporting cycle including the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial reports (IS, BS, Cash Flow), Board Reports/Presentations, Compliance, and Field Level reporting.
  • Support the annual budget and interim financial/cash plan forecasting process including deriving and analyzing metrics, KPI’s, and trends that impact future financial performance
  • Lead the communication/distribution of regional/office level financial performance against forecast/budget addition to benchmarking operational and financial metrics/KPIs/trends
  • Maintain all financial reporting systems including supporting the implementation of new systems as needed

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support special projects, presentations, and analysis for Senior Leadership
  • Develop financial models and flexible analytical frameworks for assessing financial and operational performance
  • Leverage and incorporate operational data/metrics to unpackage the relationships of operational and financial performance
  • Drive process improvement implementations and support implementation of best practices across the organization

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • College Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Public Accounting, or Consulting in an analyst/consulting capacity
  • Multi State and Multi Site Healthcare FP A and or accounting experience
  • Current MBA, CPA, CFA Charter holder or candidate a plus

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Expert level Excel user that can develop, aggregate, and synthesize massive operational datasets into actionable data to drive decision making
  • Experience utilizing various reporting systems including Business Intelligence (Power BI), Financial Reporting (BI360, Adaptive Insights, IBM Cognos), and General Ledger systems (Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains)
  • Excellent analytical/critical thinking skills coupled with the ability to discern and clearly communicate relevant facts and information
  • Team-oriented and collaborative with the flexibility to balance multiple projects and deadlines supporting functions cross the organization
  • Ability to take ownership of a process and determine the dependencies and resources needed to drive improvement and efficiency
  • Dynamic skillset/disposition that seeks constant improvement and is never satisfied with the status quo
  • Ability to strike a balance between being able to dive into the details and understanding the bigger picture
